All children use the library and are encouraged to take books out. The school library is well stocked with fiction, non-fiction, reference and picture books.

Each class has at least one session per week in the library to exchange books, browse, read, etc.

The school always welcomes good books that your children may have outgrown. We encourage parents to encourage their children to belong to the Shirley Public Library and to take them to it on a regular basis to choose new books.
