The school and community garden was a new initiative in 2015. The aim is to encourage the school and local community to become involved in growing plants, especially edible plants, for all to learn and feed from.
The group welcomes anyone who would like to contribute in any way – no garden skills are necessary, just lots of enthusiasm for making this a part of our school.
We meet monthly and hold regular working bees, with families welcome to become involved by assisting their child’s class in any garden work (in liaison with the teacher and the group).
To date donations have been generously received from The Tindall Foundation, via support for The Neighbourhood Trust, The Little Big Tree Company, and families from the school and the local community.
