The Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the school and overseeing the management of personnel, property, finance and administration. Parent trustees are elected by the parent community every 3 years. The principal is a trustee as is one staff member. At Mairehau Primary we also have an appointed Māori Whānau Trustee. The board meets on the Monday night of Week 3 and Week 8 each term at 7.00pm in the school boardroom. Please check the dates on our calendar in this website.
