Our school's community username is mairehau and the password is learn. From this site, you can send feedback to the principal on any of the school's policies and procedures. 

About SchoolDocs

The school works with SchoolDocs to maintain, update, and review our policies. SchoolDocs provides us with a comprehensive core set of policies, which have been well researched and follow the Ministry of Education National Administration Guidelines. The policies and procedures are tailored to our school, and we provide school-specific information such as our charter, and procedures for behaviour management, reporting to parents, etc.

Our board of trustees has the opportunity to view changes and additions and comment on them before they are implemented. Parents (the school community) are also invited to review certain policies throughout the year (see below).

Topics you might be interested in, and that are open for parental (school community) review, include: Home Learning, Reporting to Parents, Recognition of Cultural Diversity, and Improving Educational Outcomes for Māori Students.

How to participate in a policy review:

1. Visit the website http://mairehau.schooldocs.co.nz
2. Enter the username (mairehau) and password (learn).
3. Follow the link to the relevant policy as listed.
4. Read the policy.
5. Click the Policy Review button at the right hand top corner of the page.
6. Select the reviewer type "Parent".
7. Enter your name (optional).
8. Submit your ratings and comments.

If you don't have internet access, school office staff can provide you with printed copies of the policy and the review form.
